2/18/14 – Keystone Attends NYSAPLS Conference

Employees of Keystone recently attended the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS) 55th Annual Surveyor’s Conference and Exhibition, held in Rochester, New York, January 22-24, 2014. The focus of the conference, titled Breaking Boundaries, explored new technologies, social media, and economics in today’s surveying field. As representatives of the firm, Rodney Carey, PLS, Alexander Roberts, and William Smith, participated in seminars on Client Communications, Writing Deed Descriptions, GIS, Expert Witness, Automated Machine Guidance, 3D Data Preparation, Ethical Practices, Highway Law, Floodplain Updates, GPS Applications, Online Positioning User Service, Erie Canal History, and Marcellus Shale Exploration. Mr. Carey earned continuing education units during the conference as licensed Land Surveyors are required to complete 24 continuing education units during each three-year registration period in order to renew their license. This educational conference demonstrates the firm’s commitment to providing our clients with services that set the highest standards in our industry.
