1/11/11 – Keystone Associates Wins AIA Design Award

Keystone Associates recently received an Honorable Mention Award from the American Institute of Architects – Southern New York Chapter for the Plavac residence located in the North Depot Street Lofts, Binghamton, New York.

The awards program recognizes excellence in architectural design; while promoting public awareness of excellent architecture; and honors the architects, their clients, their consultants and the contractors who have worked together to improve the built environment. Project Manager Renee C. Andrews, CGP, attended the 2010 Biennial Design Awards in December to receive the award.

The Plavac Residence, a 1,040 SF loft, was part of an adaptive re-use renovation of an 1880’s warehouse and incorporated many sustainable design practices.

Keystone Associates is proud to be recognized and is committed to raising the bar for design and sustainability excellence.
