1/25/10 – Keystone Associates Hires New Mechanical Engineer

Keystone Associates is pleased to announce that John E. Hewitt, P.E., has joined the firm as Senior Mechanical Engineer. His duties will include client and project management and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Mr. Hewitt has 29 years experience in mechanical engineering and project management for a wide variety of projects that include industrial, education (K-12 and higher education), healthcare, commercial and institutional. Mr. Hewitt’s experience is in a broad range of renovation, new construction, and design-build projects including steam systems, HVAC and specific ventilation systems, and chilled water and heating water plants and systems.

According to Paul L. Bedford, AIA, Principal/Architectural Manager, “John is a great addition to our firm and will allow us to expand our services to our clients.”

Mr. Hewitt holds a A.A.S. in Air Conditioning Technology from the State University at Canton, in Canton, New York, and attended Rochester Institute of Technology studying Mechanical Engineering Technology. He is also an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Mr. Hewitt’s professional skills will be fully utilized to increase Keystone’s quality and design capabilities to existing and potential new clients.
