Description
KMT completed both on-site and off-site soil and concrete material testing for this multi-phased project. Specific projects included construction of a 7,872 SF Bus Garage with 59,437 SF parking area, a 30,033 SF School Building addition and approximately 5.31 ± acre sports field area, which includes a softball, soccer, and baseball fields. On-site concrete test cylinder specimens (approximately 120) were prepared during each pour and compression break tests were performed in the laboratory on approximately 1,090 CY of concrete material at intervals of 7, 14 and 28 days. In addition, off-site laboratory tests were completed on numerous soil samples to determine the modified proctor, after which on site compaction tests were completed and recorded for the bus garage and parking area, sports field, and school building addition in accordance with the project specifications.
