1/5/12 – Keystone Engineer Appointed to Broome County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors

Keystone is pleased to announce that Alexander N. Urda, P.E., CPESC, has been appointed by the Broome County Legislature membership on the Broome County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors.

The Broome County Soil and Water Conservation District (BCSWCD) is the lead agency for non-point source pollution abatement, municipal stormwater assistance, technical planning and grant writing for natural resource issues, and the design and implementation of agricultural Best Management Practices in the County. Property owners may receive technical information as it pertains to soil, water, sediment & erosion control, drainage and flooding issues.

As a Member at Large, Mr. Urda will be responsible for attending board meetings to discuss and vote on BCSWCD programs, duties, goals, and finances. Mr. Urda’s term will expire in December 2013.

Mr. Urda serves as a Project Engineer in the Civil Engineering Department. He has over 13 years experience in civil engineering including site planning and design.
