KMT completed both on-site and off-site soil and concrete material testing for a multi-phased/multi-project school renovation/addition project. The project entailed construction of several building additions to both the High School and Elementary School that includes a music room, elevators, main entrance and auditorium space, parking lot renovations/expansions, and sports fields/track. On-site concrete test cylinder specimens were prepared during each pour and compression break tests were performed in the laboratory on approximately 1,120 CY of concrete material at intervals of 7, 14 and 28 days. In addition, off-site laboratory tests were completed on numerous soil samples to determine the modified proctor, after which on-site compaction tests were completed and recorded.
