1/29/13 – Employees of Keystone Associates Attend the NYSAPLS Surveyor’s Conference

Employees of Keystone Associates recently attended the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS) 54th Annual Surveyor’s Conference and Exhibition, held in Saratoga Springs, New York, January 9-11, 2013. The focus of the conference, titled Expanding Horizons, explored new technologies, social media, and economics in today’s surveying field. As representatives of the firm, Rodney Carey, PLS, Todd MacDonald, PLS, Alexander Roberts, Brian Bush, Daniel Carkuff, and Ken Pixley, participated in seminars on GIS for Land Surveyors, Using Social Media, Dendrology, Condo Law, Tracking the Railroads, National Legal & Legislative LS Issues, Geodesy, Easements, Unmanned Airborne Systems, Legal Land Use Issues, Subdivision Law, Forensic Surveying, NYS Canals, and SEQRA and EAF Forms. Mr. Carey and Mr. MacDonald earned continuing education units during the conference as licensed Land Surveyors are required to complete 24 continuing education units during each three-year registration period in order to renew their license. This educational conference further demonstrates the firm’s commitment to providing our clients with services that set the highest standards in our industry.
