Description
Manufacturing operations at a facility in Ithaca, New York resulted in vapor intrusion problems at nearby residences. Working with the client’s engineer, KES developed a remediation plan which addressed issues concerning asbestos contaminated soil, crawl spaces, laid up stone foundation walls, dirt floor basements, utility relocations, and installation of new concrete basement floors. KES successfully completed the installation of subslab and submembrane ventilation systems in 45 residential structures.
