Description
This 12 acre shopping plaza site was a NYSDEC Brownfield cleanup site which was contaminated by previous dry cleaner operations. KES was retained by AKRF Engineers to design and install multiple subslab ventilation systems in commercial retail spaces which included Boston Market, Dunkin Donuts, and Verizon facilities. Project difficulties which KES overcame included large commercial kitchen exhaust fan issues, HVAC balance, and construction activities in active retail spaces.
