10/2/09 – Keystone Associates Project Manager Receives CPESC Certification

Keystone Associates, LLC, is pleased to announce that M. Rebecca Feher, E.I.T., has earned certification as a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).

CPESC professionals must pass a written exam designed to determine proficiency in the principles, practices, and legislation of erosion and sediment control. Applicants must also earn a qualifying BS degree with three years of professional experience in the soil erosion and sediment control profession, or complete seven years or more of professional-level experience.

Ms. Feher, E.I.T., a Project Manager, has over 12 years experience in commercial, industrial and residential development projects, transportation facilities, water and wastewater facilities and development projects.

As CPESC Professional, Ms. Feher can assist clients by navigating the permitting process, designing erosion and sediment control and stormwater management plans that comply with regulations, and helping ensure that these plans are effectively implemented. This is especially important today as Federal environmental regulations such as the EPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II regulations require erosion and sediment control measures for all construction projects disturbing one acre or more.

Keystone is committed to providing our clients with services that set the highest standards in our industry and we congratulate Ms. Feher on her accomplishment.
