Internships – Our commitment to learning and education extends to each staff member with encouragement and opportunity for growth in their field. From the Intern Development Program (IDP) required by NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) to continuing education required by our state licensing boards, we provide opportunities for our staff to learn about new products, services, and changes in the profession.
Mentor Programs – In an effort to promote careers in engineering and architecture, Keystone participates in the Chenango Forks School-to-Business STEAM Academy and Broome-Tioga BOCES School To Work Program. Both programs allows students from local school districts to spend time at our office “shadowing” professionals, asking questions, interviewing staff, and participating in discussions.
Industry Involvement – Keystone is an active member of numerous professional organizations related to our industry, including the American Institute of Architects, Consulting Engineers Council, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, U.S. Green Building Council, and the New York State Association of Land Surveyors.
Community Involvement – Keystone is a strong proponent of community involvement. On both a corporate and employee level, we support involvement with a number of community organizations, including Canstruction, Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, Junior Achievement Program, Adopt-A-Highway, Fairy Godmother Brigade, Friendship Tree and Construction for Worldwide Evangelism. We have also donated our services to support local projects including the 9/11 Memorial, All Wars Memorial, Ross Park Zoo Binturong Exhibit, Ross Park Zoo Lemur Exhibit to name a few.
