2/9/11 – Keystone Associates Attend NYSAPLS Surveyor’s Conference

Employees of Keystone Associates recently attended the New York State Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS) 52nd Annual Surveyor’s Conference and Exhibition, held in Verona, New York, January 19-21, 2011.

The focus of the conference, titled Surveying: YOU are the Future, explored new technologies, marketing techniques, and economics in today’s surveying field. As representatives of Keystone Associates, Rodney Carey, PLS, Todd MacDonald, PLS, Chad Strong, Brian Bush, Daniel Carkuff, and Travis Chaffee, participated in seminars on boundary survey, rights of way and prescriptive rights, zoning, subdivision and land development law, environmental and ethical issues in land development, machine control and 3D modeling, GIS, and laser scanning. Additionally, they explored more than 20 exhibitors and learned about new products and services.
