3/12/12 – Keystone’s Managing Member Wins Engineer of the Year Award

Keystone Associates is pleased to announce Kenneth D. Ellsworth, P.E., Managing Member, was awarded Engineer of the Year by the Broome Area Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE).

The NYSSPE, an organization of engineering professionals from all disciplines and employment sectors, advocates licensure, promotes ethical, competent and lawful engineering practice, and enhances the image and interests of its members and the engineering profession.

The Engineer of the Year Award honors a professional engineer based upon professional achievements, support and activity in the nominating organization, service to the engineering profession and to the community as a whole, technical expertise, and support for students and young engineers.

Mr. Ellsworth was honored at the organization’s annual dinner held during National Engineers Week in February. Mr. Edwin Gent, P.E., retired Professional Engineer from Keystone Associates, presented the award on behalf of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Mr. Ellsworth is a licensed professional engineer in New York, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
