4/5/13 – Keystone Wins Gold Awards

Keystone Associates was honored with Gold Awards in both the masonry and concrete categories for Excellence in Design and Installation from the American Concrete Institute’s (ACI) Central New York Chapter (CNY). Keystone Associates earned the prestigious awards for its innovative use of construction materials for the addition and renovation project at Worcester Central School in Worcester, New York. Notable design elements in the masonry were the use of arches and precast sills to match the existing building as well as white accent brick detailing; notable materials for concrete included insulated concrete forms for the exterior walls and pervious concrete pavement for the driveways, parking lots and courtyards.

The ACI CNY’s annual awards program aims to recognize the area’s best concrete and masonry projects, while promoting the use of these materials and raising awareness. Adam Krager, Project Manager on the project, attended the awards banquet in Syracuse to accept the awards. Keystone Associates is proud to be recognized and is committed to raising the bar for design and sustainability excellence.
